We've expanded our culinary offerings and refined every detail of the guest experience. But at the heart of it all, our commitment remains the same: to create holidays that celebrate curiosity, freedom, and enrichment.
Join the celebration this summer
It's our 10 year anniversary, and we’re celebrating all summer long, with you. Throughout the summer of 2026, our hotels will be filled with special moments for every age, from poolside fun with our friendly robot characters and creative Kids’ Club activities to energising fitness sessions and delicious culinary experiences.
As the sun sets, the celebrations continue with live music, silent discos, children’s discos, and interactive evening entertainment designed to bring everyone together. Whether you’re travelling as a family, a couple, or with friends, every TUI BLUE hotel has something unique in store.

From 2016 to 2026: Our journey so far
May 2016
First TUI BLUE hotel opens
TUI BLUE celebrated its debut with the opening of TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park on the Turkish Aegean in May 2016, followed by TUI BLUE Palm Garden on the Turkish Riviera only a week later.
Oct 2019
TUI’s flagship hotel brand
TUI BLUE becomes TUI Group's global flagship hotel brand, with TUI SENSIMAR (approx. 60 hotels) and TUI FAMILY LIFE (approx. 30 hotels) rebranding to TUI BLUE.
Jul 2020
Growth in the Alps
TUI BLUE Montafon opens to guests as a newly built mountain hotel constructed on the grounds of the Austrian municipalities of Schruns and Tschagguns — an ideal location for active holidaymakers.
Mar 2022
Global expansion plans
TUI BLUE expands into Southeast Asia, China, Africa and the Middle East. The first hotel in China opens in June 2024, with two more hotels following in September 2024.
2023
Friendly robot characters
2E-3000 and his robot friends debut in selected hotels. New additions include TUI BLUE Crystal Bay (Egypt), Sungarden Park (Cyprus), The Passage (Thailand), and two hotels in Spain.

Flexible search options
We introduced refreshed brand promises: personal touch, cultured cuisine and tailored activities, plus new traveller types to help guests find their ideal hotel stay.

Curaçao & Vietnam Growth
TUI BLUE announces a new hotel in Curaçao, opening in late 2026, and opens its second Vietnam hotel, TUI BLUE Nha Trang, a tranquil coastal retreat with panoramic views.

Summer 2025 Expansion
TUI BLUE Budoni in Italy, TUI BLUE Angora Beach in Türkiye, as well as TUI BLUE Manar and TUI BLUE Palm Beach Hammamet in Tunisia join the expanding portfolio.

First hotel in Indonesia
TUI BLUE Berawa opens in Canggu, South Bali, just minutes from Berawa Beach. Surrounded by surf spots, untouched beaches, and cultural attractions, it offers a blend of relaxation and adventure.

20th hotel in Asia
TUI BLUE opens Guilin Watermark Promenade in China and Angkor Grace in Cambodia, marking the brand's first hotel in Cambodia.
May 2025
Growth in Africa
TUI BLUE Tamala opens as the first TUI BLUE hotel in The Gambia and the second in Africa, alongside TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar, which opened in July 2020.
2025
Neuro-inclusive holidays
With SENNIES, TUI BLUE's kids' clubs become neuro-inclusive through specialist training, while free sensory rooms open at TUI BLUE Aura and Nausicaa Beach.
